PYRENE 430 is a project born of the encounter between two dancers and two musicians (Amaiur Luluaga, Claudia Gómez, Iñaki Plaza and Alex López).
It also presents the meeting of two seemingly opposite artistic worlds : the traditional and the contemporary, both in search of a common understanding.
“Pyrenees” refers to the legend that explains the creation of the Pyrenees, the mountain range that links the Basque Country to Catalonia, from “Cap Higuer” to “Cap de Creus”. The distance between these two points is 430 km.
PYRENE 430 is a journey from one end to the other that aims to pay homage to the traditional dances and rhythms of both cultures, seeking points of encounter between them in a resolutely contemporary perspective.
