These magnificent Galician voices bring to their songs of exile the invigorating spirit of a Brussels
rich in diversity and the timeless melodies of the ‘cantareiras’ of the Atlantic coast.

With moving vocal interplay, mystical lyricism and festive flights of fancy, IALMA brings to life
the Galician heritage that flows through their veins with the excitement of a walker who sees
Compostela on the horizon.

Based in Brussels but deeply rooted in Galicia, Verónica Codesal, Natalia Codesal,
Marisol Palomo and Eva Fernandez form the female vocal quartet IALMA.

Since 2000, they have been weaving a vibrant link between Galician tradition and contemporary music.
With ancestral songs, daring fusions and special collaborations, they have built a unique, cosmopolitan
and committed musical identity over 25 years and 7 albums.

On the occasion of their 25th anniversary – and in tribute to the exiles, including their own families –
IALMA presents ‘Para Galegas NÓS’: a moving and festive concert that pays homage to
Galician roots, memory and resistance, carried by the multicultural energy of Brussels.

Para Galegas NÓS is a musical journey through emotion, struggle and celebration, showcasing
the best of their seven albums. A deeply human project, as captivating as it is necessary.
