Homenaxe / Galician Folk

IALMA (Galicia), Didier LALOY (Belgium), Karim BAGGILI (Belgium) & Damien CHIERICI (Belgium)

Homenaxe : the project celebrating 25 years of IALMA

Based in Brussels but deeply rooted in Galicia, Verónica Codesal, Natalia Codesal, Marisol Palomo and Eva Fernandez form the female vocal quartet IALMA.

Since 2000, they have been weaving a vibrant bond between Galician tradition and contemporary music. With age-old songs, daring fusions and special collaborations, they have built a unique, cosmopolitan and committed musical identity in 25 years and 7 albums.

On the occasion of their 25th anniversary – and as a tribute to the exiles, including their own families – IALMA brings “HOMENAXE”: a moving and festive concert that honors Galician roots, memory and resistance, carried by the multicultural energy of Brussels.

HOMENAXE is a musical journey through emotion, struggle and celebration, featuring the best of their seven albums. A deeply human project, as compelling as it is necessary.
