ENG – TONI MORA was born in Madrid (Spain) where he began his musical studies at the age of 10 years old learning classical guitar at the Reina Sofía Conservatory in Madrid. He gets very interested in learning Jazz been 24 years old and he receives a scholarship to study in The Netherlands where he completed a 4 years Bachelor Program in Jazz Guitar Performance and Teaching at the Rotterdam´s Conservatory (CODARTS) obtaining a grade of 9.5 out of 10 and where he got semifinalist in the Erasmus Jazz Competition in Rotterdam 2005. He had the chance to participate in Masterclasess with some of the biggest name in Jazz, like Kurt Rosenwinkel, John Scofield, Richard Bona, Mike Stern, Jonathan Kreisberg, Jeff Ballard, etc. During those years he worked in different projects playing with musicians like Hans Van Osterhout, Miguel Rodriguez, Tuur Moens, Sotirys Dnouvas, Lovro Ravbar and with his Trio in Clubs and Festivals in Holland, Spain ,France and Slovenia remarking the North sea Jazz Festival in 2005 where he played with the Bobby Sanabria Latin Big Band.
After finishing his studies in Holland he moves to Barcelona where he worked as a guitar teacher and play with some of the best musicians from Spanish Jazz scene like Miguel Benito, Sergi Felipe, Marc Cuevas, Tomás Merlo, Ander García, Gianni Gagliardi, Paco Perera, Santi Colomer, David Gonzalez, Juan Galiardo, Manuel Perfumo, Arturo Serra, Pedro Cortejosa, Nono García, José Lopez, Tito Alcedo, María Cavaes, Pepa Niebla, Jose Manuel León, David León among others.
In 2013 TONI MORA was invited to take part of the Guitar Festival Guitarrisimo with three Great Flamenco guitar Players, Jose Manuel León, Salvador Andrades (Spain) and Myrddyn de Cauter (Belgium). As a side musician he played for the Lovro Ravbar´s album (Rush Hour), Kim Joonghyuk (Time Remembered) and in Maria Cavaes (My Self ) where he also worked as a Producer, Composer and Arranger.
In 2014 he decided to move to Brussels (Belgium) where he has completed a Master program with distinction in Jazz guitar at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. Since then he is being an active musician on the Brussels Jazz scene where he is leading his own Quartet and has been working and recording with some of the finest musicians from the Brussels music scene.
